Chateau Marmot is a luxurious, modern A-frame cabin within a half hour of Mount Rainier National Park, White Pass Ski Area, and some of the most breathtaking hiking on the West Coast. Amenities include a cedar hot tub, Weber gas grill, hi-fi stereo, fireplace, balcony, deck, and fire pit. We're just 2.5 scenic hours from Portland and Seattle, and we're dog friendly.

Our cabin is located in a working class vacation home community with a roughly 50/50 mix of weekenders and full-timers. The neighborhood consists of traditional cabins, ranch homes and trailers in roughly equal parts. You will see an occasional car and pedestrian passing by, and our neighbors are within sight, but you'll still enjoy plenty of privacy and quiet for most of the season.

Be advised that Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends in Packwood are more crowded than usual, and often noisy. Same for week of July 4th.  If you're seeking peace and quiet on those holidays, we don't recommend this cabin.
